Small Wins Add Up To Big Victories, Just Keep Your Eye on the Prize

When you’re navigating through the world of business it can be tempting to solely focus on the big wins.​​ The only successes you see are when you close every deal or make every sale. This is a fast track on the way to burnout, and it discounts all the work you put in behind the scenes. That work doesn’t disappear just because you didn’t reach your end goal. And I’d argue that every obstacle you overcome only makes you a stronger person and business owner; if you embrace them they can become great a motivation for you to keep going and keep trying.

Small wins mean you’re trying, and regardless of the big end result, they are laying the foundation for you to ultimately succeed. If you’re not counting on shit happening while you attempt to grow your business or close a deal, you’re not living in reality. Life is always going to throw you curveballs that derail your ultimate goal, but a great way to keep morale up is to remember all the little reasons to celebrate along the way.
