How Books Have Spurred Jeffrey & Jen’s Success

We speak from experience when we say writing books is so important to the success of entrepreneurs. In 1992, Jeffrey began writing a column in the Charlotte Business Journal. About three columns in, he realized that if he wrote 100 of these, he’d have a book. That realization inspired him to go for it.

Since then, he’s written 17 books and can trace every penny he’s earned back to something he’s written.

That’s pretty powerful stuff. And along the way, since we both began our book writing journeys, we’ve experienced some pretty cool encounters that we wouldn’t have otherwise. For example, Jen got a call from someone who saw her book at an airport. They wanted to work with her because they knew she was good at sales. The kicker? They didn’t even buy her book! All it took for them to trust in her ability was seeing her name as a published author.
