And seeking help doesn’t invalidate their skill or expertise.

This is the part of the movie where we tell you you’ve always had the power inside of you to be your own coach. Sorry for the movie trope, but it’s true! One of the best things you can do for yourself is record your own sales pitch and then evaluate it. Study it, and correct any mistakes you see. This is also a useful exercise if you DO have a coach; again they will be able to see even more than you if there are things or techniques that you need to change.

All of this will help you not just get better at sales presently, but grow in your sales techniques over time. Constant improvement is the goal here. And if you have another person cheering you on, and pointing out ways to improve, you’ll adjust and evolve that much faster.

Learn from your weaknesses and turn those difficulties into opportunities to improve. You’ll get better and better at sales day by day.
