Post Pandemic Productivity & Profitability
Daniel Burrus is considered one of the World’s Leading Futurists on Global Trends and Disruptive Innovation.
The New York Times has referred to him as one of the top three business gurus in the highest demand as a speaker. In this episode we
discuss the coronavirus pandemic and how it impacts you.
Are you the best at what you do?
Everyone wants success, but very few achieve the success they dream about.
This personal challenge e-book describes the personal evolution necessary to become a super-star.
Ben Franklin is one of our founding fathers, and he’s a truly prolific writer. He started his own printing company and authored many books.
So many of his quotes are remembered:
“A penny saved is a penny earned.”
“Well done is better than well said.”
“He that falls in love with himself will have no rivals.”
Franklin is omnipresent in Philadelphia. There are many statues, sites, and buildings named after him in the city and throughout our entire country. He is remembered and revered because of the legacy he created through his writing.
We’re not saying you’re going to be Ben Franklin. But we are saying that your words can create a lasting impact. They can become part of your own legacy.
What will people remember about you? What will they say about you when you’re gone? We challenge you: don’t let it be that you always wanted to write a book but never did it! What better reason to write than to create a legacy?
To start writing, literally just start writing!
We tend to get so in our heads when it comes to writing that we psych ourselves out. This stops us from taking action.
You just have to begin. Put some words on a page, or start talking into a recorder. It doesn’t have to be perfect! Just get it out there.
Once you start with something, the ideas will flow to you. You can edit and polish it later. You just have to start!
Making money can and should be one of your reasons to write, BUT don’t get it confused:
Wealth doesn’t come from selling the book itself. Wealth comes from everything AFTER.
You’ll get some money from book sales. But it’s ultimately not that much
Where the wealth comes from is how people receive the book and respond to your writing. People will get exposed to your ideas. Then they’ll want to invest in you.
You may not think that it’s worth your time to write. But we assure you that it is! We both can trace the money we’ve made back to something we’ve written. We promise you that wealth is a reason to write. It just comes after the book, not from book sales.
Every person has a book in them. It’s just that most people don’t actually take the time to write it. We encourage you to commit the time because your words can change someone’s life! Think about the books you’ve read that have made an impact on your life. You have the opportunity to do that for another person. Your words matter!
